Magnetic Fidget Slider
This is a pocket-sized magnetic slider with a long travel and a textured thumb face. You push it, it glides, it catches, and it snaps back with a low click you feel more than you hear.
It's for anyone whose hands need something to do while the rest of them is busy reading, thinking, listening or waiting.
- Long track — more glide before the magnet catches than our square version
- Textured top face for thumb grip, deliberately rough
- Silent by design: no rattle, no plastic snap
- Hand-finished in our workshop in Navarra, Spain, in small batches
- 8 colours · No batteries, no charging, no app

Why the long shape
The extra length gives the slider a longer track, so the travel before the magnet catches is noticeably longer than on the square version. If you like a slower, deeper push — more glide before the snap — this is the one. It also sits along the length of a closed hand, which makes it easier to use without looking at it.
The textured face is deliberate
We made the top surface rough on purpose. The texture gives your thumb something to bite into, so every push lands the same and you can feel exactly where you are on the track. It photographs less glossy. It works considerably better in the hand.
What we tried first
The first version was smooth. It felt good for about three pushes — then the thumb starts skating across the surface and you lose control of the travel. Two flat faces sliding against each other look better than they work.
Three ways to use it
Slide
Thumb push, magnetic catch, clean snap return. The motion you'll keep coming back to.
Spin
Flat and balanced, so it keeps turning between your fingertips.
Roll
Squared faces and softened corners, built for knuckle rolls and palm passes.
Quiet on purpose
No rattle, no clatter, no plastic snap. The magnets do the work, so the sound stays a low click instead of a distraction. It works in an open-plan office, a lecture hall, a waiting room, or the passenger seat at 2am.
Made in small batches
Every slider is hand-finished in our workshop in Navarra, Spain, one batch at a time, using our own production process.
How each unit is checked
The magnets are seated and tested by hand, so the pull is even and the return is clean on every single unit. If one doesn't feel right, it doesn't ship.

Frequently asked questions
Is it loud?
No. The magnets do the work, so the return is a low click rather than a snap. It works in an open-plan office or a quiet room.
What's the difference between this and the square one?
This has a longer track, so there's more travel before the magnet catches. The square has flatter edges and a shorter, sharper push.
Why is the top surface rough?
On purpose. The smooth version let the thumb skate across it, which meant losing control of the travel. The texture makes every push land the same.
How long does shipping take?
3 to 6 business days, sometimes 7 to 10 depending on your location. Tracking is emailed when the parcel leaves us. Full details on our shipping times and costs page.
Can I get it in a colour that isn't listed?
Often yes. We make these in small batches, so email us and we'll tell you what's possible.
